In this blog post, you’ll discover everything you never knew you needed (or wanted) to know about the team at ArtMoi. If you have any questions for us, send them to [email protected]!
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been? I made a solo trip across Europe in 2001 and Berlin was the most interesting. It’s full of history and creativity and when I was there they allowed dogs on the bus. They have a nutty graffiti scene, friendly, wonderful people, and you can drink in public and people still act like adults.
What artist or band do you always recommend when someone asks for a music recommendation? The Ramones. Because they are the best. 3 chords. All family members. They’re punk rock Hanson.
What is your secret talent? I can turn coffee into a chemical liquid no one wants to drink😵.
What inanimate object would be the most annoying if it played loud upbeat music while being used? Underwear
Sarah, Creative Director
What was the most memorable gift you’ve received? A series of commissioned paintings by different artists from my husband commemorating the day we met.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? The ability to stop time! I’m a working mom so time is never on my side haha
Alex, Lead Developer
Who would play you in a biopic about your life? An extra who accidentally gets cast in a leading role á la Harrison Ford.
If cartoon physics suddenly replaced real physics, what are some things you would want to try? 1. Pull any object I want from behind myself. 2. Cool World.
What skill would you like to master? Balloon animals
If you had to pick a theme song for your life, what would it be? How can I choose just one? I made a playlist instead:
Emily, Community Manager
What topic could you spend hours talking about? My dog, Ruby and the merits of a quality salsa.
What weird food combinations do you really enjoy? I’m from the Midwest and we eat some weird things. My favorites are dill pickles (especially dill spears) in a cheap lager, and then something I call Funeral Bread because it’s often served at the funerals of those from the Lutheran faith. It is cinnamon bread, spread with Cheez Whiz and sometimes topped with sliced green olives. Mmmm…
